It would be harsh to limit his reasons for being the finest captain of the IPL 2023 to just five. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, 42, personifies the adage "age is just a number." Dhoni's fame dates back a long distance since he was the first skipper to win every international trophy available, and he is revered throughout the world for his calm demeanour and approach to the game. Crowds go crazy when he walks in, which speaks volumes about how much he is adored. His handy contributions down the order in the last couple of overs are amongst the most beloved and wholesome moments of this year’s IPL. Chennai Super Kings are the current table toppers of the 2023 IPL, having won 5 out of their first seven matches. It's hard to look past their skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, for their perennial success in the TATA IPL.
