The bike race in question is the Glasgow World Championships. The last Worlds I spent any amount of time at was the 2018 Innsbruck Worlds in Austria, where I was competing in the junior time trial. I was eighth that day, some kid called Remco Evenepoel won, and another guy called Luke Plapp was second. To name a few other riders, Ben Healy, Biniam Girmay and Ben Tulett all featured on the results sheet.
