A skilled player who&rsquo;s perfected these motions has a swing that looks coordinated and rhythmic&mdash;because it is!</p>
<p>Try the simple drill of holding a club loosely in your fingertips. Now try to&nbsp;take it back slowly, then increase speed quickly. You&rsquo;ll find the club will not swing. Now try the same thing while gripping the club normally and swinging with the image of Jack&rsquo;s foot movements. While swinging the club, try to match more closely your backswing speed with your downswing speed. Now you&rsquo;ve created a harmonic oscillator!</p>
