It wasn’t long ago that the most personalized adjustment a golfer could make to their club was a basic grip change. Club builders, with some hands-on experience and the right tools, could get creative and add stamping or change the paint fill, but that was about it.

Today, modern technology and streamlined manufacturing processes have made it possible to personalize clubs from almost any equipment manufacturer with just a few clicks on your computer or phone. In two or three weeks, you can own everything from a custom-stamped wedge to a driver or putter pieced together with your exact specs. If you can dream it, they can build it.

TaylorMade has been a leader in this revolution, and their My Personalization program includes MyStealth2 drivers, MySpider putters, MyHi-Toe and MyMG3 wedges and, most recently, MySymbol custom TP5 golf balls.

TaylorMade’s club personalization program began back in 2019 with the launch of the original MySpider, which allowed golfers to customize the putter with everything from sight lines to body and insert colors.

In 2021, TaylorMade introduced the Sim2 driver, built on a platform of four separate components crafted together to form the head, opening up an entirely new world of possibilities. The driver program has been a huge success and carries on to this day with the Stealth 2 Plus model, which offers two different body colors, nine face colors, six back ring colors, as well as crown, finish and logo options. Altogether, there are nearly 900 color combinations alone for one club.

MySpider also continues on with the newest Spider GT and GTX models with an almost endless combination of color options.
