Richarlison was once criticised as an overpriced flop, but is now one of the best strikers in the world.

GOLDEN BOY

When Richarlison scored his stunning second World Cup goal for Brazil against Serbia, it W was the culmination of a life-long ambition and yet another milestone he has ticked off in a career that is skyrocketing.

The forward also recently fulfilled his ambition of playing in the UEFA Champions League following his move to Tottenham Hotspur and relished his role of being the main man in the Brazil attack.

It has been a long journey for the 25-year-old, from his past, where he was accused of being an overpriced potential flop when Everton paid £35 million pounds to Watford for him in 2018, to one of the most revered figures seen in many a year at Goodison Park and a move to Tottenham that could be worth upwards of £60 million with addons considered.

Richarlison has worked his way into the lead forward role with Brazil, having been entrusted with the position by coach Tite, who stuck with him when some were questioning whether he was up for the job some years ago.

But he almost missed out on the World Cup when he was injured playing for Tottenham just before the finals and ended up on crutches.
