The Terriers stated they had paid a 'significant undisclosed fee' for the 24-year-old central midfielder, who has agreed a contract that runs until the summer of 2026.
The club also have an option on a further year's extension.
Wiles came through the ranks at Rotherham and went on to make 193 appearances for the Millers, scoring 17 goals.
