EROL Bulut urged Josh Bowler to show more belief after his wonder strike earned Cardiff City victory at Watford.
Bowler’s superb 43rd-minute curler gave Cardiff a third win in their past four Championship away games and Bulut said: “Josh has to believe in himself.
“I spoke with him many, many times, as did my assistant. He has really, really good qualities in a one-on-one situation, so he has to use them.”
With a threadbare squad, Bulut gave his players an extended break from training last week and their extra energy proved vital in holding off a late Watford onslaught.
Bulut also credited the club’s greater strength in depth after bringing in six players in the final two days of the transfer window.
