MARK McGuinness believes joining Luton Town from Championship rivals Cardiff for a club-record fee of £10m is the 'perfect' move.

DEFENDER MARK SO HAPPY TO BE HATTER

The 23-year-old centre-back scored six goals in 86 appearances for the Bluebirds and was Hatters manager Rob Edwards' No.1 target this summer.

"For me, Luton Town was the perfect next step," said McGuinness, who spent a decade at Arsenal before joining Cardiff in the summer of 2021.

"I think it's the culture, it's whole the whole of Luton Town.

"It really suits me as a player and as a person. I'm excited to be here already.

"It's early days, but I can sense the vibe and the positivity.
