Last season's play-off final losers secured their rise to League One as goals from Tanto Olaofe and Fraser Horsfall earned a comfortable victory over visitors Morecambe.
The Hatters boss was delighted that last season's Wembley woe when County were beaten on penalties by Carlisle - had finally been put to bed.
But now he wants more.
"It's a great feeling to win promotion and see everyone celebrate like they are, especially after the disappointment of losing at Wembley last year," he said. "We are now looking forward to going to Notts County on Tuesday night because the aim is to win the league.
"I had a poster up on the wall at the training ground from that play-off final game. We used it as motivation for this year and that seems to have worked.
"It feels great to get the promotion and it’s fully deserved for the hard work everyone at the club has put in... but there is still work to do.’’
