BRISTOL Rovers summer signing Promise Omochere is looking to add more goals to his game and believes he has two perfect role models to help him.
The 23-year-old has plundered a respectable seven and six goals from the flanks during his first two campaigns in the EFL with Fleetwood.
But Pirates chief Matt Taylor wants Omochere to lead the line in a central role during 2024-25 and the ex-Bohemians attacker knows with that new responsibility comes an onus to hit "double digits".
Fortunately, he has a couple of 35-year-old mentors at the Memorial Stadium who have plundered more than 320 senior goals between them.
And Omochere is studiously observing both Chris Martin (182 career goals pre-weekend) and Scott Sinclair (141) as he looks to improve his own potency levels.
"Now I'm playing as a striker it's my job to score goals," the 6ft 2in Dubliner told The FLP.
"There's obviously more to my game besides goals and I get through a lot of work on the pitch, but I'd definitely like to get into double digits.
