Rochdale versus Stockton Town is one such tie, but their FA Trophy and league histories couldn’t be more different.

Dale exited in the last 64 last season in their only previous campaign to date having dropped out of the Football League at end of 2022-23 season whilst Stockton Town had never reached the ‘proper’ rounds in three campaign prior to this season having been a Teesside League side as recently as 15 years ago.
