Singh looked on in horror after Turner suffered a cardiac arrest during Celtic’s FA Trophy game at Gateshead on Tuesday night, forcing the game to be abandoned late in the first half.
The 32-year-old was rushed to hospital but thanks largely to the quick-thinking of medics on the scene, is now stable back home and on the road to recovery.
By day, Singh is an FA Coaching Tutor and says it’s reassuring to know that the measures and emergency First Aid protocols put in place to deal with such an eventuality are sufficient.
“When it comes to duty of care and the logistics we have in place, we have some very good people who are very good at what they do,” Singh told The NLP.
