Boardley's Isthmian North title hopefuls crushed Step 3 Bishop's Stortford 6-1 in their own back yard last weekend to book their spot in the Isuzu FA Trophy second round.
With the National League North and South clubs entering the competition, the Suffolk outfit have been handed one of the biggest in full-time Wood.
The Seasiders' boss admits he fancied their chances at a Stortford side struggling for confidence.
And while he knows this will be a stern test, he wants his players to show why they're a club on the up.
"Boreham Wood are a huge club and it's a huge game for us - one we are really looking forward to," Boardley told The NLP. "They've obviously had some big cup runs in the last few years that kind of really put them on the map. It's one our fans and players are relishing.
