RECORD-BREAKING TREBLE FOR CELTIC

It was their 41st Scottish Cup, to go alongside the 53 league titles and 21 League Cups, and, most significantly, it completed a world-record eighth treble.

For Ange Postecoglou it was his final game, lured away by Tottenham Hotspur (more on page 76). Yet, while managers may come and go, McGregor remains the heartbeat of Celtic. The Scotland midfielder is the symbol of the current desire and future ambition, with the 29-year-old now possessing a remarkable 20 winners’ medals and playing part in five trebles.
