Needs macOS 10.15 or later
WE ALL KNOW how tedious and time-consuming it can be when you repeatedly have to type certain pieces of text several times a day, such as your address or key information. macOS does have an option in the Keyboard settings panel that can help, by allowing you to create text "replacements". These are short snippets of text that are automatically replaced by a longer piece of text when typing - such as "myweb" instantly expanding to show your company's full web address. That's a handy time-saver, but this option in macOS is quite limited, and is really only suitable for simple, short pieces of text.
