INSTANT UPGRADES MOTOROLA RAZR

FIRST ADD THESE...

ONE

ONEPLUS BUDS PRO 2

Get some spatial audio in your ears with OnePlus's fancy Buds Pro 2, packing adaptive noise-cancelling, dual drivers, hi-res audio support and 54ms low latency. With 39hrs of playback (including the case) and fast charging, despite occasionally fiddly controls these are some of the most feature-packed in-ears on offer.

£179/oneplus.com

TWO

BOOX NOTE AIR2 PLUS

If you want a notetaking companion for your flip phone, this svelte E Ink slate could be just the ticket. Wirelessly ping files over to it from the Razr using Google's Nearby Share, scribble away on its pressure-sensitive 10.3in backlit Carta display, and access your own ePUB and PDF books or Kindle and Kobo libraries.

£500/amazon.co.uk

THREE

HUAWEI MATEVIEW

Take advantage of Moto's big-screen Ready For interface by combining the Razr with this stellar monitor. Cast from the flip phone wirelessly to its 4K display via Miracast, or plug it in the old-fashioned way with USB-C for a mighty desktop experience. Hook up a mouse and keyboard and you can easily edit docs on its 28.2in display.

£600/huawei.com

NOW TRY THIS...

1 STARE FOR FLAIR

If you don't have Face Unlock active, using the Razr's cover screen will be a pain in the rump: anything more in-depth than telling the time will require you to fumble your way around the phone to access the fingerprint scanner, or punch in your passcode. To unlock cover screen apps and features with a glance, activate the feature by going to Settings > Security > Face Unlock.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess - It's really not what you expect from a major publisher these days, but Capcom's curious blend of action, real-time strategy and tower defence is one of the most original games you'll play all year

It's really not what you expect from a major publisher these days, but Capcom's curious blend of action, real-time strategy and tower defence is one of the most original games you'll play all year. From its colourful costumes to a pastoral message of healing nature, Kunitsu-Gami is proudly Japanese in its inspirations. Your masked warrior is on a mission to help a divine maiden purge a mountain of an evil 'defilement'... but this is no Link/Zelda dynamic: you'll also rely on villagers to help you beat back monsters.
