A crestfallen-possessive lover's label and apparent criticism followed Ahan Shetty's debut film 'Tadap' release. Some felt the actor was a too-straight face like his father and couldn't portray the rainbow of emotions a Bollywood film breathes, while others felt that the lack of quality screenplay made the film fall flat. Nevertheless, nothing stopped the rustic boy and embracing reactions to his debut and forging ahead. Shetty has signed a four-film contract with producer-writer-director Sajid Nadiadwala, with other projects in the pipeline. SWEET BEGINNINGS

Born to a Bollywood celebrity couple, like other star kids, Shetty found Bollywood fascinating since childhood. Despite being a star kid, his parents chose to keep little Ahan was kept away from the spotlight. He attended the American School of Bombay, Mumbai, Maharashtra and went overseas to graduate in Acting and Film-Making.

Shetty is a fan of football and also passionate about music. He is often pictured with a guitar and sharing his love for fitness in his social media posts.
