Chris speculates on what some cats must think when he first walks though the door

It often crosses my mind whether cats in my care I their house and, judging by the wide-eyed surprise on many of their faces, I'd say they definitely do. A stranger suddenly letting themselves in your front door is always going to be a bit of a shock!

Whilst my regular feline clients obviously know me well, and understand that I'm simply an annoyance, first-time cats perhaps perceive me as a burglar who steals from their litter trays.

Or perhaps I'm Santa Claws, months early, but still turning up with the gift of Whiskas Supermeat. If it's the latter, I really wish they'd consider leaving me a mince pie, rather than a dead rat.

Seriously, though, because as you know, My Weekly likes me to write totally serious articles, what do those new cats think about my first visits?

I've had three new starters this month, and their initial reactions were as follows: 1 Tommy MacDonald.
