The comedian and presenter talks about Bake Off: The Professionals, her love of cakes and food colouring hair streaks!

● I presented The Great Pottery Throw Down for a while and that was lovely, but you can't eat anything on that. On Bake Off there are little morsels all over the shop! It's a dream job for me. I'll go for a walk at lunchtimes to compensate for having locked myself in the chocolate cupboard!

● Once all the pastries have been judged, the production crew come in like gannets and everything disappears. The show provides Tupperware boxes for them, but I started bringing in my own bigger ones from home!

● Sugar work is so fragile and it's a horrible sound when you hear this tiny snap and then a splat. You turn around and see that all the hours the chefs have been working on some towering creation has collapsed.
