She's been called everything from talented and iconic to downright quirky. And when it comes to her latest movie, Diane Keaton is adding yet another descriptor to the list: ridiculous! The Oscar-winning star couldn't help but laugh when she was presented with the poster of the film Mack & Rita, in which she plays a 30-year-old who wakes up as her 70-year-old self after a wild bachelorette party.
In the image, the 76-year-old actress is sporting some rather interesting snakeskin tights with matching boots.
"It's not attractive!" laughs Diane. "Those legs are like sticks. I hope people get a kick out of how ridiculous it is. There I am, the moron on her last legs." The Annie Hall star admits she had great fun playing the role, in which her character becomes a social-media sensation and a cougar to boot.
"I never understood the idea that you're supposed to mellow as you get older," she muses. "Slowing down isn't something I relate to at all. The goal is to continue in good and bad, all of it. To continue to express myself. To feel the world. To explore.
To be with people. To take things far. To risk. To love.
