Living separate lives REESE GÕES SO LO

Reese Witherspoon has lived her life squarely in the spotlight - lighting up the big screen in hit movie after hit movie, winning awards at glittering ceremonies and becoming one of Hollywood's biggest power players.

But when it comes to her recently announced divorce, the actress found a way to keep all the drama behind. the scenes.

Fans were blindsided when Reese, 47, and her husband Jim Toth, 52, recently announced their intention to part ways.

The pair confirmed they'd made the decision "after a great deal of care and consideration", and insiders say they have, in fact, been contemplating the announcement for years.

"This is no ordinary divorce, even by Hollywood standards," an insider confides. "Reese was already worth megabucks before she sold a huge portion of her production company in 2021 for almost a billion American dollars."

Back in 2021, rumours swirled that the pair had realised their marriage wasn't going to go the distance, with one source spilling, "They've decided they should have a plan for splitting up their assets that wouldn't destroy what they built together."

That plan included selling a number of their properties, including a farmhouse in Malibu in 2020, an English country-style manor in Los Angeles, a mansion in Nashville and, of course, the sale of a large part of the production company Hello Sunshine.
