THERE'S no denying that a visit from a friendly four-footed pet can brighten the day, especially if you're in hospital or a care home.
But the arrival of a festive little pony adds even more seasonal joy.
And you only have to meet Boo, a seven-year-old American miniature horse, and her owner, Yvette Colson of Warwickshire, to see the incredible work they do.
Yvette and Boo bring happiness on a daily basis. to so many people - young and old alike.
They work with people with special needs, autistic children and those in palliative care, visiting hospitals, care homes, hospices, day centres, schools and nurseries, as well as pony parties.
Their arrival brightens up the day, bringing smiles and laughter, with hospital and care home staff regularly seeing the difference in their patients and residents following a visit from Boo.
