After its huge success last year, it’s almost time for My Mum, Your Dad – the unique dating show hosted by Davina McCall – to return to our screens.
Dubbed the ‘midlife Love Island’, the reality show was a hit with viewers last year and is to thank for stars Janey Smith and Roger Hawes’ solid relationship. And this year, the reality show promises to bring more heat, with Davina, 56, revealing that they’ve ‘spiced’ things up for series two.
After splitting from her husband Matthew Robertson in 2017, Davina found herself navigating the midlife dating scene – something she says was ‘hard’. But she eventually got another chance at love when she got together with hairdresser Michael Douglas in 2019. And now the star says she wants to help others her age find their matches.
