Eamonn's revenge WHO WILL BE SACKED?

It’s no secret that Eamonn Holmes still feels bitter about being canned from his regular slot alongside wife Ruth Langsford on This Morning back in 2020. And while the star has bounced back from his shock exit from the channel altogether – bagging a huge role on GB News as a breakfast presenter and fronting BBC series Farm to Feast: Best Menu Wins – it seems he could still be vying for revenge on his former bosses.

An inside source tells us, ‘Eamonn is understandably still furious. He is passionate about his career and he feels like people need to know what happened from his point of view. He is cross and you can tell by the way he speaks about leaving ITV that it wasn’t palatable for him. He loved that gig, was good at that gig and would go back, but not without some BIG changes. Revenge is sometimes a dish best served cold.’

Eamonn, 62, himself admitted that he would consider returning to ITV in the future – but only if his enemies at the network were fired. ‘I’d work for ITV again,’ he said, but added, ‘There would have to be an apology and a couple of resignations.’

The star even thinks he’d have had an easier ride in his career if he wasn’t as outspoken, saying, ‘In TV you don’t have to be any good, you just have to have someone in authority that likes you.’

Eamonn added he wasn’t afraid to take on the bigwigs at ITV, adding, ‘I stand up to them and they don’t like that. Nobody bullies me. I grew up in Belfast. People might not like me, but I tell the truth.’
