ANNIE
An early acting gig came at the age of 14 when she won the part of the red-headed orphan in the Broadway musical. The actor revealed playing Annie, even as a child, saw her earn more money in a week than her parents ever had. But it wasn't all plain sailing, as Sarah recalls how she once felt ill during the show and vomited on stage in a mortifying mishap.
HOCUS POCUS
The beloved Disney comedy saw Sarah hop on a broomstick and flying vacuum cleaner to join Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy as evil witches the Sanderson sisters. Sarah played a ditzy blonde who lured victims with her hypnotic singing, giving the actor the chance to showcase her impressive vocals. Despite the movie initially bombing at the box office, it went on to cast a spell over fans and has become a Halloween staple. After 29 years, Sarah and her co-stars returned for a 2022 sequel that broke viewing records on Disney+ and led to a third film being announced.
