It wasn't long before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex hit back after new reports of how difficult it can be to work for them.
As I reported last week, US film and TV industry trade magazine The Hollywood Reporter wrote a bombshell article claiming that the couple had such a high turnover of US staff allegedly because 'everyone's terrified of Meghan', she reduced 'grown men to tears' and that Harry was an 'enabler'.
It was a short piece that didn't even make the front cover. But the Sussexes' reaction was even more interesting than the original story. Uncontained fury would be my reading...
Not long after the article hit the website, the Sussexes' current and former staff were quoted in American celebrity magazine Us Weekly about how amazing the pair were to work for, and dispelling the claims made in the Hollywood Reporter article.
Meghan a fabulous boss who gives baskets of fruit, freshly laid eggs (from the Sussex chickens, obvs) and flowers to staff who visit her $13 million Montecito home.
Harry-well, he's an equally lovely chief who always has time for chit-chat, while the pair give 'top-notch' hand-me-downs from Archie and Lili to new parents, and new leads to first-time dog owners on staff.
