HARRY AND MEGHAN WERE BACK WITH A BANG ON THEIR FIRST 'ROYAL TOUR'

It was a classic Sussex confection.

Harry and Meghan’s first foreign ‘tour’ since their departure as working royals had all the signs of a royal visit: a formal welcome, complete with cultural dancers, excited school children lining up to meet them, cheering crowds and an official dinner.

Yet, of course, this was not an official royal tour (despite Nigeria being a member of the Commonwealth).

Where they once represented the then Queen and country, now they represent themselves.

Ostensibly this trip was about promoting the Invictus Games – the Paralympic-style games for injured military personnel that Prince Harry founded 10 years ago.
