Their careers have often been compared and in the past Amanda Holden has made it clear she'd love a gig on This Morning. And it seems that the Heart radio presenter couldn't help but make a comic dig at Holly Willoughby recently when she sarcastically referenced Holly's speech after she returned to This Morning without Phillip Schofield. Mocking Holly's opening words of 'Are you OK?' Amanda used the line in one of her Instagram videos revealing her outfit of the day. 'Hello, it is Tuesday. Are you OK?' Amanda, 52, said with a wry smile. Later, during her Heart radio show, she used the phrase again, cackling after she asked listeners, 'I'm OK people, are you OK?'
While Amanda's feud with Phillip Schofield is well documented, she has never previously appeared to have taken aim at Holly, 42. Her Instagram jibe, later repeated on her radio show, immediately created headlines, though Amanda was quick to hit back at claims of a feud between the pair, telling her Instagram followers that a rift between them 'simply does not exist'.
But it certainly seems that the two leading ladies of telly are at opposite ends of the wheel of career fortune right now. While Amanda is riding high on success, Holly is going through a particularly tough period. First, there was 'queuegate', where the mum-of-three and her former co-host Phillip Schofield, 61, were accused of skipping the queue to see the late Queen lying in state. The stars vehemently denied the accusations, and were backed by ITV, but Holly was said to be upset at the network's handling of the affair.
