Pharmacy reforms are allowing us to access more healthcare on the high street, and DIY tests mean that we can check for various conditions without needing a doctor’s appointment. With this in mind, here’s our selection of quick and easy at-home tests that you can do in your own time.

Anaemia

Iron deficiency anaemia commonly occurs due to a lack of iron in your diet, leading to a reduction in red blood cells. In the UK, it affects 8% of the female population. Symptoms include low energy, breathlessness and pale skin. Untreated, it can lead to heart problems and reduced immunity.
