Next year marks 30 years since Friends hit our screens and ditsy waitress Rachel gave us that iconic haircut. Jennifer Aniston, arguably the biggest breakout star of the series, has seen her personal life make as many headlines as her blockbuster movies. Last year, the 54-year-old opened up about her ‘challenging’ struggle to become a mother, and her journey with IVF and fertility issues.
Now, months on, the actor – who has been married to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux – tells Woman she hopes that speaking out helps others in a similar position. ‘I just think by talking about it–hopefully everybody can be that little bit more thoughtful,’ she says.
The star is also open about her thoughts on ageing and the state of Hollywood, telling us, ‘The industry has evolved and in the past as a woman in her 50s you would have been playing a mum on screen – but I am still hopeful for really adventurous roles.’
And there’s no doubt Jennifer’s most recent work has been exciting, with audiences waiting in anticipation for the third series of critically acclaimed comedy drama The Morning Show to drop later this year.
And, it seems there’s no slowing down. Here, Jennifer tells us about her plans for the summer, her wellness secrets and explains why she’s sick of people telling her she ‘looks good for her age’.
Hi Jennifer, what are you most excited about at the moment?
