In her new book, Rebel Rising, the Hollywood actor didn’t hold back when it came to sharing intimate details of her life. But one of her most surprising revelations was divulging the fellow actor she lost her virginity to at age 35.

The Pitch Perfect star confessed that the man in question was comedian Mickey Gooch Jr, 38, and that the all-important moment happened at The Greenwich Hotel in New York while they were filming 2016’s How to be Single. Rebel, now 44, also explained that the reason she waited so long to have sex was because she felt that ‘as a big girl, no one would ever truly find me sexually attractive.’

However, her mindset changed when her mum was diagnosed with cancer, with Rebel admitting that she realised ‘life is short’. She added, ‘I didn’t want to live my life without experiencing sex… I was going to sl*t it up with the next guy that came along.’ Enter Mickey.
