MEGHAN THE AGONY AUNT?
WOMAN - UK|April 03, 2023
It's interesting that the Duchess of Sussex has seemingly decided to revitalise her lifestyle website, The Tig.

MEGHAN THE AGONY AUNT?

Offering words of wisdom about self-empowerment and self-acceptance, alongside travel and restaurant reviews, it was Meghan’s ‘hub for the discerning palette’. She shut it down after her marriage to Prince Harry in 2017, but has now had official preliminary approval to revive it.

Details filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office reveal that the revamped website would offer tips on food, travel, fashion, the arts, design, conscious living and wellness, in what is thought to be Meghan’s answer to Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop website – reportedly worth £200 million.

Certainly the duchess has been looking at other revenue areas, in consultation with one of Hollywood’s big power brokers. The filings at the patent office suggest Meghan could become some kind of agony aunt, providing ‘commentary in the field of personal relationships’.

Imagine the kind of advice…

‘Dear Meghan, my family are treating me meanly and are rude to my partner. What shall I do?’ one Harold of GB could write.

IS THERE ANYTHING MORE NOSTALGIC THAN CHRISTMASES PAST?

Do you remember the anticipation before the big day, pondering endlessly about what should go on your Christmas list? I would lovingly write two or three things down, pop it into an envelope and leave it by the fireplace to be wafted up the chimney like something out of Mary Poppins.
