After accusing her of lying, Meghan's family want their day in court, writes Emily Andrews
New courtroom SHOWDOWN

Harry and Meghan are no strangers to court battles, with both launching legal cases against various British newspapers in recent years.

But now the shoe is on the other foot and this time it's Meghan's family who are forcing the couple back to court to reveal all The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have already spilt intimate details of their lives in their Netflix special and in Prince Harry's tell-all memoir.

Now, they will have to submit to a grilling by the lawyers of Meghan's half-sister Samantha Markle - and it may cause yet more grief for the Royal Family.

The interrogation could end up being the Sussexes' most revealing interview yet as Samantha has requested Meghan make 38 separate admissions including 'Queen Elizabeth was not a racist' and 'King Charles is not a racist'. If Meghan refuses, it could prompt more accusations of racism against the Royal Family.

In an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, Meghan claimed there were 'concerns and conversations about how dark his [Archie's] skin might be' when Harry and an unnamed senior royal were talking about Meghan's first pregnancy.

The couple later clarified it was not the Queen or Prince Philip, prompting frenzied speculation over who it could have been, and fuelling damaging allegations of racism at the Palace.

IS THERE ANYTHING MORE NOSTALGIC THAN CHRISTMASES PAST?

Do you remember the anticipation before the big day, pondering endlessly about what should go on your Christmas list? I would lovingly write two or three things down, pop it into an envelope and leave it by the fireplace to be wafted up the chimney like something out of Mary Poppins.
