You were born to be a dad. I know it from the way you care for our fur babies, Beatrix the cat and our Bichon Frise, Bonnie. You're the most caring man I know and I have no idea how I would've coped without you in the past few years.
When we met in 2016, I told you all about the heavy, painful periods I'd endured for years. The pill helped to keep them at bay, but when I came off contraception so we could try for a baby after our wedding in May 2018, all that changed.
STAYING POSITIVE
I'd see your concerned face as I was doubled over when the cramps hit. Every month, the pain was agonising. 'It'll be worth it when I get pregnant,' I told you.
Yet every month my period arrived, bringing us yet more heartache and agony.
