It may have been on our screens for more than 23 years, but Loose Women bosses are keen to keep things fresh by constantly adding to their roster of panellists. However, it seems some of the ‘original’ ladies aren’t too happy with their new co-workers and would rather bring the show back to basics.
Coleen Nolan, who joined the show in 1999, recently liked a tweet from a viewer which read, ‘We have Carol [McGiffin] and Denise [Welch] back. We need Andrea [McLean] and Jane [McDonald], please.’ Coleen herself has previously said, ‘Whenever it’s with those core people, it’s just like how Loose used to be.’
And with other older cast members picking fights with newer panellists in recent episodes, is there some secret tension behind the scenes?
