In his 40-plus years in showbiz, it’s safe to say that Phillip Schofield has ruffled a few feathers with his fellow celebs. On more than one occasion the This Morning host, 61, has reportedly feuded with another star. And it seems there’s a new name Phil’s going to have to battle against in the opinion polls, as he’s been branded ‘b**chy’ by fellow celeb Billie Faiers.
It’s the latest in a series of blows for Phil, who has also publicly denounced his brother, Timothy Schofield, after the latter was found guilty of sexually abusing a teenage boy over a three-year period. ‘As far as I am concerned, I no longer have a brother,’ Phil said after his younger sibling was found guilty of 11 sexual offences, adding that Timothy had committed ‘despicable crimes’ and he welcomed the verdict.
MOMENT RUINED
Tense times in the Schofield family can’t be helped by Phil being called out by fellow celebs either. And the furore with Billie began when the former TOWIE star’s homeware collection, called Chapter B, featured on This Morning as part of the show’s Lust List segment. But Billie’s big moment was ruined when a vase was smashed off-screen, with the camera then showing pieces being swept up. Making light of the situation, Phillip joked, ‘It was Matt who dropped it. He dropped it and you heard him drop, then kick it two or three times in the air. It took hours for it to smash!’
