Make waves without tongs
There’s been a resurgence in trying ways to get waves without reaching for the tongs. We all know the classic trick of braiding your hair when it’s damp to create beachy waves as it dries.
Kitsch Satin Heatless Curling Set, £16, mykitsch. com, is another way of testing out the trend – wrap hair around the tube, tie it up then sleep. Remove in the morning and work through with a wide-toothed comb to loosen the waves.
The quick messy bun
No need to wash and style your hair for this easy look. Gather your hair to the height of your choice, then loosely twist into a bun and secure with a bobble. Bring out some pieces around your face to soften it. You can add some extra interest by incorporating some accessories, such as a silky scarf attached to a bobble, like this Floral Scarf Hair Band, £9, Accessorize.
