While golden couple Victoria, 48, and David Beckham, 47, had a romantic week celebrating 23 years of marriage with a luxurious trip to Paris and Venice, the former Spice Girl marked the occasion - and proved revenge really is sweet - by posting a photo of her beaming alongside David, and joking: ‘They say he isn’t funny, they say I never smile, they said it wouldn’t last. Today we celebrate 23 years being married. David you are my everything, I love you so much!!!!’. But while gushing posts flooded in from their sons Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17, their eldest, Brooklyn, was a little slower to congratulate his parents on their milestone anniversary - and his new wife stayed silent altogether.

When Brooklyn wed American heiress Nicola Peltz in April, it seemed that Brand Beckham was entering a new era, with a fresh generation ready to carry on the name. Now, however, it seems the glitzy £3 million affair - held at Nicola’s family’s oceanfront Palm Beach estate - could all have been smoke and mirrors. New comments made by Nicola, 27, suggest things aren’t that rosy between her and her new mum-in-law.
