Like most royal couples before them, King Charles and Queen Camilla have three bedrooms at Clarence House - his, hers and theirs and palace insiders unanimously agree the sleeping arrangements "have been a consistent saver of royal marriages for centuries".
While Charles, 74, has preferred sleeping alone to avoid inflaming his back pain, sources say it's "a mutually beneficial" situation for 76-year-old Camilla, who is known to even shun all three bedrooms to stay at her private home, Ray Mill House in Wiltshire.
