How did you first become interested in the case of the Granny Killer, John Wayne Glover, which inspired The Thrill Of It?

It stems from my mother, which is ironic since the whole thing is about a guy who’s got mother issues, but my mum and I have been obsessed with serial killer stories since I can remember. I kind of grew up with a lot of books about serial killers, like Ted Bundy, on the shelves alongside lots of Joan Collins, which is kind of hilarious. Mum and I still have a lot of conversations around true crime and the Granny Killer really fascinated us because of the elderly element.
