Carrying out one of his first official royal duties at his grandfather King Charles III's coronation, adorable Prince George was a bundle of nerves. While the eyes of the world were on the tiny prince, the nine-year-old with his big brown eyes and even bigger heart won over the nation as he performed his duty as a page of honour, alongside seven other children, the first future monarch in modern royal history to be involved in such a service.
No one was prouder of the king-to-be than his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, who had spent the past few months preparing him and his siblings for the biggest day of their lives.
"There's no doubt Kate and William were carrying most of the nerves on his behalf, but they're incredibly proud of how brave he's been," says a palace source.
"William pulled George aside before the event and gave him a big hug and told him he was very proud of him."
