Now, Robyn Nevin, 80, is bossy busybody Joan in the new Aussie film The Appleton Ladies' Potato Race.
Based on the play of the same name, the Paramount+ production follows Penny Anderson (Claire van der Boom) who returns to her childhood home just in time for the Appleton Show and its "world famous" potato race, where she unleashes a culture war!

It was lovely and it was convenient because I live in the lovely Southern Highlands. It was a great surprise to find out they were filming so close to where I live.
