DYNASTY'S LINDA EVANS AT 80 'THE TRUTH ABOUT MY FEUD WITH JOAN!

They were enemies onscreen, but when the cameras stopped rolling, it was a different story

Actress Linda Evans celebrated her 80th birthday late last year and the Dynasty icon has never been more content or at peace than she is now, living far away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.
The beloved TV star, who played Krystle Carrington on the popular soap, is enjoying life on her sprawling 30-hectare ranch on a lake in Washington, where she now lives with her ex-stepdaughter Sean Derek and a nephew.
“After nearly a decade on Dynasty, I was ready for a change,” Linda confesses to Woman’s Day. “I made the move because I had no time for myself and my life was far from private.”
Linda was married to actor-director John Derek from 1968 to 1974, and she was devastated when he announced he’d fallen in love with then-17-year-old Bo Collins, who would become Bo Derek, and was leaving her for the young 10 actress.
“At the time, I was crushed,” she says. “But eventually I moved on. Bo and I became friends. I also developed friendships with John’s other wives, Pati Behrs, the mother of his two children, and actress Ursula Andress.”
From 1975 to 1979, Linda was married to realtor Stan Herman, then she dated a string of men for the next 10 years, until 1989, when she fell in love with New Age musician Yanni, who was 12 years her junior.
