Her journey from the confines of traditional norms to the pinnacle of educational entrepreneurship, or rather, edupreneurship, is not just inspiring but also a testament to nearly three decades of determination and vision.
Born into a Royal family of Orissa, young Manjula Jema, as she was fondly referred to, often questioned the social conventions that leaned in favour of boys over girls. Fuelled by a relentless thirst for knowledge, she refused to succumb to these limitations and embarked on a path that would redefine her destiny.
Dr. Shroff's odyssey began with a firm resolve to pursue higher education. It was not merely about academic excellence but also about challenging the status quo. She went on to gain new experiences and add higher qualifications to her profile.
Establishment of Kalorex Group
The establishment of the Kalorex Group in 1995 paved the way for many pioneering changes in the K-12 educational landscape. Under her leadership, she first set up Delhi Public School - Bopal as Kalorex's first institute. This flagship institution sowed a seed of quality education and paved the way for CBSE, IB & State Board institutes to follow in its footsteps and set the benchmark of quality and service.
Fuelled by her passion and her unwavering belief in the transformative power of knowledge, she set out to create an educational ecosystem that would nurture young minds and empower them to realize their full potential.
