My fail-safe remedy
When my energy levels feel depleted I go for a 'no-thinking' walk. This involves walking, usually up the canal path near to my home, but rather than playing over thoughts or ideas, I shift my attention to my senses: listening to the gravel beneath my feet and to the birds, and feeling the breeze (or biting wind) against my face. Noticing my senses as I walk gives the thinking brain a rest and tends to lift my energy levels.
