Outlet stores can save you up to 65% compared to shopping at retail stores, thanks to discounts on overstock, merchandise from past seasons and returns. “Most outlets run holiday promotions, where you can score serious deals on your favorite brands, like an additional 50% off,” says outlet shopping pro Kelli Veliz of ThatOutletGirl.com. But finding out if the sale will be starting before the actual holiday can net even bigger savings, says Veliz. “Many outlets run their holiday promotions for the entire duration of their regular weekly sale cycles, which means holiday sales often start a few days in advance.” By showing up early, you’ll be able to skip the crowds and get first dibs at the best deals. Just give the store a call to find out the exact days holiday sales and promotions will begin!
