Hoisin-Glazed Drumettes
For a heartier dinner, serve these addictive bites with rice to soak up the sweet 'n' spicy glaze
- 2 Tbs. hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbs. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. packed light brown sugar
- 3⁄4 tsp. salt
- 1⁄2 tsp. Chinese five-spice powder
- 3 lbs. chicken drumettes
- 1 tsp. toasted sesame seeds
- Lime wedges (optional)
Heat oven to 425°F. Line rimmed baking sheet with foil; coat with cooking spray. In large bowl, combine hoisin, soy sauce and brown sugar; reserve half of mixture. In small bowl, combine salt and Chinese five-spice powder. Rub chicken with spice mixture; toss with remaining hoisin mixture.
Arrange drumettes in single layer on baking sheet; bake 15 min. Turn drumettes over; bake until chicken is no longer pink near bone, 15–20 min., brushing with reserved sauce mixture during last 5 min. of cooking time. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. If desired, serve with lime wedges.
