A study in the Journal of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease found that strokes occurred more often in cold weather. Canadian scientists found those who ate one serving (about a square) of chocolate every week were less likely to have a stroke than those who ate no chocolate. Though dark chocolate is healthier than milk chocolate, a study in Heart found people who ate any type of chocolate daily had a lower stroke risk than those who didn't eat chocolate.
