In Love With Macro

Uday Hegde is a SAP Technical Architect by profession and is currently living in Bangalore. He hails from a small village called Sirsi in the North Canara District of Karnataka. He is married and has a 9-year-old son. Says Uday “I was lucky to have been born in the midst of the natural beauty of the Western Ghats which I always wanted to capture the way I see it. And it was 12 years back that I finally got that chance when I bought my first camera. At the age of eight or nine, I used to take wild shots using my dad’s old camera never knowing the perfect angle. But that got me so interested that it became my dream to buy a camera for myself when I grew up and got a job.

UNIQUE MADAGASCAR

Randeep Singh, whom we have featured earlier too, is a wildlife photographer. He has travelled over 75 countries worldwide to pursue his love for wildlife photography. Arshdeep Singh, Randeep’s son, is 13 years old but is well known as a young wildlife photographer from Jalandhar, India. Arshdeep has already won several wildlife awards, including the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2018 (10 years and under, at world level), Young Comedy Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2018 (under 16 years), and Young Asian Wildlife Photographer 2018 (under 18 years). He is passionate about bird photography and has been to most national parks in India and in African countries.

Ashok Kandimalla has been in the photographic field for over three decades and has extensive experience in both film and digital photography. Being an electronics engineer by profession and a photographer, he possesses a unique and deep insight into the technical aspects of digital photography and equipment. He has published more than a 100 articles on photography and some of his writings have also been published in the well-known international magazine Popular Photography. An avid collector of photographic books and vintage cameras, Ashok has a keen interest in the history of photography and a passion for sharing his knowledge on photography through teaching and writing.
