Alex Bishop takes the top four slots in the Karma qualifi er and lands the Dynamic B and C, all with just one saddle
Blue Barn, Kent
IT is no mean feat, jumping four horses in a table A7 championship qualifier, let alone when you have only brought one saddle to use for all of them.
But Alex Bishop managed to take the top four places in the Blue Chip Karma performance qualifier, swapping from one horse to another and back as he jumped four first-round clears followed by four more in the jump-off.
He took the win with MGS Isabella, a compact and careful six-year-old Lux Z mare, who beat seven-year-old Copain into second place by 0.02 of a second.
Alex, who runs Sussex Equestrian Sales with Matt Pike, said Isabella is a mare who “wants to win”.
